Essential Senior Care provides quality and individualized care to seniors and adults. Each of our locations has state of the art facilities with a home like atmosphere and a highly skilled and compassionate team of professional caregivers who provide around the clock care to our residents. These professionals are dedicated to fulfilling the specific medical, emotional, social/physiological and rehabilitative needs of each of our residents and their families. Essential Senior Care provides long-term and short-term care; as well as rehabilitation for those who have experienced an illness, or surgery and need therapy before returning home. Whether our residents are planning to reside at our campuses for a few months or a few years, we create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, where they can delight in life, participate in activities and enjoy time with their friends and families.
We have physician as well as nurse practitioners at least weekly and usually more often
Each home employs a life enrichment team that is dedicated to making each patient’s stay as enjoyable as they can. Outside activities range from outdoor strolls to the Boardwalk and outdoor recreation area activities. In addition, the teams make sure there are a number of events and activities at each home for residents to enjoy; including, at some locations, art and media centers for residents to enjoy.
At Essential Senior Care we want each and every resident to make themselves at home. The facilities encourage patients to bring items that will make them feel comfortable and secure. Many of our facilities have signs outside each patient’s room that read “This is my home, please knock” in order to reinforce our respect for them and their space.
One of the conveniences that set our campuses apart is our patient-centered dining experience. Our culinary teams do their best to prepare healthy meals and snacks for all to enjoy and some of the locations have the flexibility to prepare meals upon request. Dietary needs are monitored and catered. Alternatives are always available, and suggestions are always welcomed.
We offer a wide variety of activities, tailored to the needs of our clients ranging from light exercise, games, arts & crafts, puzzles to brain challenging games & exercises and therapeutic recreation activities. See our monthly calendar for more information.
Essential Senior Care arranges transportation services to meet the residents’ needs.
We are happy to accommodate clients with mental illnesses, brain injuries, Alzheimer’s, dementia and developmental disabilities. However, Essential Senior Care & Health may not be a good fit for clients that are prone to exhibit aggressive behavior and/or require mainly one-on-one care. Each prospective resident must be individually assessed to determine if we are a good fit and if they meet our admissions standards.
We accept Medicaid, SSI/SSA/SSP, private insurance, and private pay. Our knowledgeable staff can assist in finding the best way to fund care.
